In Conjunction with Cavan County Council's Library Service
We aim to bring people together for a community wide reading experience which will get our community talking, foster community spirit, promote tolerance and understanding and develop appreciation for reading as the gateway that makes all other learning possible.
Delighted to see 22 young people from the travelling community involved in One Cavan, One Writer, through the After School Service. They are working on a giant paiper mache horse, using Siobhan's short story, "Pavee and the Buffer", as inspiration for their project. Well done all involved!
Also, The London Eye Mystery is being used in Loughan House Prison as part of their literacy classes.
Looking forward to hearing more from both projects.

Great reaction from teachers re resource packs they feel there is a great range of activities and loads of fun activities. The children love the idea of a Cavan underground.
