We aim to bring people together for a community wide reading experience which will get our community talking, foster community spirit, promote tolerance and understanding and develop appreciation for reading as the gateway that makes all other learning possible.

Launch night

Spoke to parent this afternoon with parent who was at launch. She was very inspired by speech of Siobhans cousin and has read A Swift Pure Cry.She found the story very moving so I told her about the letter writing competition and she intends to enter.

    Have spoken to many people who attended Launch night and everyone delighted with the entire evening. Very positive reaction to a first glimpse of the resource packs.
